Check-up
Is your PMS saving you time, or costing you time?
Ten questions, three minutes. At the end you get a score out of 100, the detail by area, and the two things worth acting on — which are not always the PMS.
Your browser works out the score as you answer. To see it in full we ask for your email address, and we send it there too: a month from now this page will not be in front of you, and that number is only useful if you can compare it with tomorrow's.
What this check-up is not
It is not a diagnosis of your software: ten questions cannot do that, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling. It measures how much repetitive work your system leaves to you, which is the part you feel in the payroll and in the rota.
And it does not always end with «you need our PMS». If yours does its job we say so, because replacing it would be an expensive project for a small gain — and in that case the upside is somewhere else.
Do I have to leave my email to see the score?
To see it in full, yes. Your browser works the score out as you answer, so technically it is already there — open the developer tools and you will find it. We are not pretending it is protected: we ask for the email because that result is worth rereading in six months, and this page is not.
What do you do with my address?
We send you the result, once. After that you stay in our contact records together with the proof of when you gave consent, and every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
We do not enrol you in any automated sequence and we do not pass your address to anyone.
How reliable is a score built on ten questions?
The questions were chosen because they separate: they ask what you do by hand, not which features you bought. A hotel can own a PMS full of switched-off features and score low — rightly so, because the time is lost either way.
The weights are not equal: data and reporting are worth 25 out of 100, compliance 15. Not every gap costs the same.
Is it worth redoing in a few months?
That is the best way to use it. The score on its own says little; today's score next to the one from six months ago says whether the things you changed actually removed work. Redo it and we send you the new result.
Is it useful if I have no PMS at all?
Yes, and the score will be low — but the useful part is not the number: it is seeing which five areas exist and how much each weighs, before you choose. If you are evaluating, you may as well know what to look at.
Would you rather go through it together?
Half an hour on your numbers, and we will tell you where it is worth starting — even if the answer is «not now».
